I draw ideas from nature and a wide range of art movements. I often apply a combination of techniques, mediums and material to enrich my work.
It wasn't until my late 50s that I was able to find the time and gather the courage to to try my hand at art. I enrolled in a Fine Arts and Contemporary Craft course at the Bega TAFE in NSW. Veronica O'Leary ran the course and was inspirational. With her encouragement, and the support of my wonderful family (especially my husband) and friends, I completed the course in 2011.
I have sold my work in exhibitions, privately and at an art gallery in Pambula NSW.
I also paint for charity.
